KIMBERLEY BAKO, Swensen Fellow
Kimberley joined the Office of Strategic Analysis in the summer of 2023 after graduating from Yale School of Public Health with an MPH in Health Policy. As a graduate student, Kimberley was a Graduate Assistant for the Yale College Executive Committee, and she was also involved in pediatric obesity research at the School of Medicine. She received her B.A. in Global Health at Davidson College in North Carolina and was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. In her free time, Kimberley enjoys sewing and spending time with her family.
BEICHEN ZHANG, Swensen Fellow
Beichen joined the Office of Strategic Analysis in spring 2024 after graduating from Yale College with a B.A. in Economics. In her time as an undergraduate, Beichen was involved in the international student community as a peer liaison and in the Pierson community as a FroCo. She also worked as a campus tour guide, an academic strategies mentor, a Chinese language tutor, and a peer tutor for Game Theory. In her free time, Beichen enjoys playing tennis and going on walks in New Haven.
HAIDER HASSAN, Swensen Fellow
Haider joined the Office of Strategic Analysis in the fall of 2024 after graduating from Yale with a B.A. in Economics. During his time at Yale, he served as an executive board member of Yale Undergraduate Diversified Investments, the President of Yalies For Pakistan and was a guest opinion columnist for the Yale Daily News. In his free time, Haider enjoys following the financial markets, watching soccer matches with friends, playing the piano and writing articles.
NATHAN MORAN, Swensen Fellow
Nathan joined the Office of Strategic Analysis in the summer of 2024 after graduating from Yale College with a B.A. in Music. As an undergraduate, he was involved in the Yale Political Union and the Yale University Guild of Carillonneurs. He also held positions at Sterling Memorial Library and the Schwarzman Center, and served as a peer tutor in Music Theory. In his free time, Nathan enjoys composing music, reading, and exploring New Haven with his wife.
DEMI LEE, Swensen Fellow
Demi joined the Office of Strategic Analysis in the fall of 2024 after graduating from Yale College with a B.S. in Cognitive Science. As an undergraduate, Demi served on the FroCo team of Timothy Dwight College and worked as a photography aide for the Head of College Office. Additionally, Demi was on the Board of Directors for the Yale International Relations Association (YIRA) as the Director of Hemispheres (an international relations teaching program for New Haven high schoolers) and mentored students as an Academic Strategies Peer Mentor for the Poorvu Center. In her free time on campus, Demi enjoys learning about photography, trying new restaurants with friends, and making pottery.
CONNOR KERPIUS, Manager of Strategic Analysis
Connor joined Yale as Manager of Strategic Analysis in October 2024. Prior to Yale, Connor was a Consultant at Bain & Company in New York, working on strategy and due diligence projects for clients across sectors. Connor holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Boston College. Prior to receiving his MBA from Yale, Connor worked for PwC’s consulting practice in both New York and Boston. In his free time, Connor enjoys running and walking around New Haven.
SIDNEY SCOTT, Director of Strategic Analysis
Sidney joined Yale as the Director of the Strategic Analysis team in July 2023. In this role, she manages the Swensen Fellows and oversees the SA team’s projects. Prior to this role, Sidney was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, leading strategy consulting teams and primarily serving clients in the education sector. Sidney holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Education Studies (History & Policy concentration) from Brown University. Prior to receiving her MBA from Yale, she was an elementary school teacher for five years, in DC and New Orleans. In her free time, Sidney enjoys reading, going on long walks with her dogs, volunteering, and writing creatively.
CHAD LOSEE, Head of Strategy
Chad Losee joined Yale in January 2023 and oversees the Office of Strategic Analysis and the Office of Institutional Research. He came to Yale from Harvard Business School, where he served as head of MBA admissions and financial aid from 2016-2022. Prior to this, Chad worked at Bain & Company in Dallas, Texas and Stockholm, Sweden for five years. In the middle of his time at Bain & Co., he completed an MBA at Harvard and then stayed for an additional year as part of the founding team for HBS Online. Chad holds a B.A. in international relations from Brigham Young University, an MBA from HBS, and a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania. In his free time, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and four boys.
